Hi Everyone, Although it is mid-month, I thought it would be good to talk about turning the page. We all make special note of turning the calendar pages from December to January, which is the change of a new year. But every month, we have the same opportunity...or every week with a weekly calendar...to turn the page and start anew.

Hi Friends, Today's post is about taking responsibility for your things. We are trying to teach Tucker about taking care of his toys, his school work and other people's things. It's one of the lessons in life that we think will serve him well in the future.

Hi Friends, With so many new calendars coming on line, I thought it might be useful to let you all know how I use the stickers that come with many of our calendar titles to keep our little family organized. We keep things pretty simple around here as Tucker is still in first grade and my husband, well, the simpler the better for him

Dear Friends, Whether it is the snow cover on the ground or it is just that we seem to be going a bit stir crazy around here, we've been noticing that more and more of nature's children are visiting our backyard. Every morning we see strange footsteps belonging to some creature or another as they must be using our property to get to somewhere else where there is more food.
